This bold cocktail strikes a balance between sweet heat, spice, and sour. It gets its kick from house-made Cowboy Candy syrup and a splash of red chile liqueur, such as 505 Spirits‘ Red Sauce or Ancho Reyes chile liqueur.

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces bourbon of your choice
  • 1 ounce lemon juice
  • 1/2 ounce Cowboy Candy syrup
  • 1/2 ounce red chile liqueur
  • Cowboy Candy, for garnish

Instructions

  • Add bourbon, lemon juice, Cowboy Candy syrup, and red chile liqueur in a shaker with ice. Shake until well chilled. Strain into a chilled rocks glass with a single large cube or whatever ice you have on hand. Garnish with Cowboy Candy.
