Remnants of the garden
Frost burned and crispy
Soil whipped by the sun and wind
into a milk chocolate desert sorbet
with sand sprinkles
I stare at the plot now and
It seems hard to remember the juicy jungle
Looking back makes me smile
And makes my fingers itch for a pitchfork
