Black Mesa Winery
100% of Black Mesa wines are created here on the Estate in Velarde, New Mexico. Therefore, we have the highest level of control over the production of our wines, from berry to bottle.
We grow six grape varieties in our Estate vineyards, and each year we purchase only the best hand-harvested grapes from select vineyards around New Mexico to supplement our own varieties.
Our Bite Me Hard Cider is made at Black Mesa Winery, using 100% northern New Mexico apples, bringing New Mexico's 400-year-old traditions of apple cultivation and wine production to fruition. High elevation fruit (5,800 feet) provides the perfect juice to create world class cider of this style. We are happy to support our neighboring farmers to bring you a top-quality product!
