ASIAN FERMENTS: tsukemono & shio koji

April 14, 10am – 12pm at Gutiérrez-Hubbell House

Join us for a hands-on workshop and learn the ins and outs of Asian ferments.

What’s tsukemono? Learn about the many different types of Japanese pickles and how to make them in your own home! Taught by David Gaspar de Alba (Oni Noodles). Known to be an all-purpose traditional Japanese seasoning, shio koji can be the multi-tasking seasoning in your kitchen. Taught by Nao Sadewic.
